Internship

During the 07-08 season, we hosted four UCF Interns, who spent a year living in Dunclug and working alongside both Hillside and Ballyloughan Presbyterian.

 

As well as involving themselves in the existing activities of the churches, Erin, John, Dwight & Elizabeth had many opportunities to make solid friendships and share their faith with their neighbours.

 

While the other 3 have all returned to Ballymena for short term visits, Elizabeth Hill has truly made herself at home here! Since Autumn 2008 she has been Hillside’s voluntary community worker. Much of her time is spent assisting with the planning and delivery of the KidZone programme each week, but she also tries to be a part of Dunclug life in any way she can.

 

She runs a weekly art club for a group of young girls, and visits with many children and families on a regular basis.
